[ Cloud Computing ] Re: cloud and user experience

My take specifically on the 'User Experience' would be more on
designing and enabling

a) Easy to use interfaces for the consumer/end user
b) Translating the complexity of cloud operations in to simple and
well structured front end user interfaces
c) Structured and meaningful delivery of information
d) Optimised Web GUI for cloud based applications (SaaS)

Examples are Rightscale's online Amazon EC2 operations portal
Gogrid.com's easy to use Ajax based user
interfaces
Kavvo's web based Amazon EC2 deployment
management interface
Hyperic's Cloudstatus.com which gives a
realtime trending of the popular clouds

so on.......

In essence, Information delivery architecture,GUI and Usability
design,Enterprise portal,SOA,Widgets,AJAX,Flash technologies could
help design and implemetations can help improve delivering complex
cloud information, simple ,but powerful interfaces with greater
usability...
