[ Cloud Computing ] Re: Cloud for Financial Sectors

That would be really nice to get.  However, knowing from experience how most financial institutions like to be so secretive about their internal technology deployments, I think this might be a tall order.

Some of the hedge funds and big broker houses in the Metro  NYC area are sharing co-location space in  NYSE and NASDAQ data centers in order to get their data latency issues down to a minimum. The reality is that must people know this and yet, they (the hedge funds) do not boast about this;  because of NDA requirements, the service providers (Savvis, BT Radianz and the likes) are not allow to tell anyone  who they are doing business with and/or how large the scope of these deployments  might be. All of these data is considered strategic and proprietary in nature.

Subject: [ Cloud Computing ] Cloud for Financial Sectors

Hello All,

Please can any one provide some inputs on the cloud adaptation in Financial Sectors. Are there any companies which have already invested in cloud, any pointers to such case studies, white papers would be very helpful.

Are clouds ready for Financial Organizations?

Many Thanks
Raj
