[ Cloud Computing ] Re: Cloud Computing - getting into the cloud

Just curious, are'nt or can't we model enterprise usage pattern and
arrive at a model that would suggest what would be best suited.

For eg.

With in banks, it would be peak usage during working hours and post
that it would be processing and updating the transactions that
happened.

In stock exchange, we would again have peak usage during the
stipulated trading session and the remaining time it would be more of
back office processing

Things might be different for retailers.

Since usage pattern vary for different enterprises, an intelligent way
of providing service would benefit and help in cutting server usage
costs.

My few cents,
Prem
