system out of the cloud. It's one of the first questions I'm asked
about our platform. Public clouds are fine for consumer apps and
public websites, but the majority of businesses want to keep their
information behind their firewall.
We need standardization to move from cloud to cloud or to simply move
out of the cloud.
The comparison of cloud computing and electrical utilities is a good
one and applicable in many senses, including standardization, but
somewhere in that analogy we are forgetting there is no information in
electricity.
