Re: Smart(er) Networks and Cloud Computing

I need to note, that my example with EC2 isn't perfect match for differentiated services. 
I think telephony guys on EC2 forum wanted to use benefits of running application in a cloud, so it scales up/down saving costs (and possibly bringing other benefits). Also it might be just a part of workflow. You need to search Amazon EC2 forums for references to the topic, sorry I didn't save it anywhere, it just left some footprint in my memory.

What's the detailed benefit of running IP telephony or conferencing on
Amazon EC2? Does such effort include some parallelization of the
applications? Do you relevant online document about such attemp?
